I was an avid horse girl when I was a kid, but for some reason stopped drawing them... I was re-playing Fire Emblem 3 Houses when I decided to try painting them, it was fun playing with each character's personalities and how they interact with their horses! Poor Sylvain doesn't even realise his horse is eating his hair while he flirts.
I was also trying to go for a more muted palette since I'm was a bit "addicted" to the saturated warm palettes at the time.
