My main idea was that the two lionesses are sisters (twins) and the rest are their group of friends from their respective course/major.

These characters were heavily inspired by people I knew at school, and their relation to each other and their art was very important to me. This is my favorite part of designing groups of friends.

I explored a few different takes on each animal/characters, I like to do that individually and later play match. This helps me have more contrast in character shapes & designs.

I knew one of the lions would have a mane, but I still wanted people to know they are twins so that’s why I tried the same body shapes for both.

I love the idea of a trans female Lion character because it gives us room to play with the mane.

I was unsure about the twins and the Red Panda design so checking the silhouettes is essential for me.
